BMG are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 container drivers to work day shift.
We are seeking skilled and reliable HGV Class 1 Container Drivers to join our team.
This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest level of professionalism and Compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, Transporting Containers from Port to Addresses in the UK
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and inform on site fitters of any issues.
- Communicate effectively with planners, customers, and team members
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as POD's and daily inspection reports

Qualifications:
- Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as HGV Class 1 Driver – 12months
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid and up to date Driver CPC and Tacho Cards

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH CONTAINERS !

HGV Class1 - Burton and Skelmersdale


BMG are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to work day/night shift and tramping.
Your main responsibility will be to ensure the accurate and safe delivery of customer products within a specified delivery area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurate and safe delivery of customer product within the specified delivery area
• Regular liaison with the Transport Office to report and update any challenges, reportable matters, and completion of run
• Undertake multi-drop delivery, collection, or trunking as required
• Record deliveries and follow specific instructions for each customer site
• Complete daily vehicle checks
• Ensure that reasonable care is taken at all times and that Health & Safety Policies are adhered to
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the Company Standards of Performance and Health and Safety Policy
• Report any accidents as soon as possible and in compliance with the company’s accident reporting procedure
• Look after the vehicle and ensure that it is not subjected to unnecessary damage
• Restrain the load in accordance with DfT code of practice: safety of loads on vehicles

Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Class 1 Driver – 24 months
• Must hold a Class 1 Driving Licence
• Valid Digi-Tacho card and CPC card
• Must be a team player and considerate of his/her worker colleagues
• The successful candidates will also drive to the highest standards, putting the safety of themselves and other road users at the forefront of their driving actions
